The idea of this project came out in 2003 after the first spontaneous joint performance... The album started to be recorded later that year. NetLenka had some conceptual ideas about texts, MOX had some compositions, which pleaded for adding vocals to them. As the result, we have a mesmerizing creature, also due to a talent and taste of Nick Artamonov (mixer and co-producer) . It was a one of his last works... NetLenka is telling us the stories about mermaids. There are a lot of myths about mermaids in the ancient Russian history. According to a legend - all female still-born children, dead before christening and drowned girls become mermaids. They are eternally young and beautiful. When nature blossoms, they wander along shores of their rivers, find a sanctuary under an oak's crown, where they're sitting, spinning yarn.
